VIUF Immigration group wants to invite you all to a very timely discussion on January 20th with Molly Matter – “Bridges Not Barriers ~ Immigrant Crises on our Watch.  The event  is being co-hosted by Vashon/Maury SURJ, Vashon Resettlement Committee, and Vashon Indivisible’s Immigrant/Refugee Rights Team, and will feature island attorney Molly Matter, who will speak about her personal experience as a volunteer at the NW Detention Center as well as her volunteer experiences taking depositions from refugee children separated from their families in Arizona.  The focus will be on motivating audience members to become more engaged on this issue.  Please spread the word and bring your friends.  Sunday January 20, 3-5 pm at the Land Trust Building.  See the poster here.
