The last book club meeting will be on May 29th, the week after the Annual Meeting.
The book is Regeneration: Ending the Climate Crisis in one Generation, by Paul Hawken 2021, Penguin Books.
Regeneration describes how an inclusive movement can engage the majority of humanity to save the world from the threat of global warming, with climate solutions that directly serve our children. It is the inspiring and necessary guide to inform the movement, written by a bestselling author, who has keynoted conferences and consulted with governments and corporations throughout the world. All are welcome to the book discussion after the service.
This book was recommended by one of our new members, Marsha Shenck. I’m really enjoying reading the book, as it includes lots of pictures and famous people and places in the world and gives lots of ideas to think about.
