In keeping with our congregational theme for December, stillness, our theme for this month’s Women-Identified Group meeting is the “Spectrum of Stillness.”

Our intention is to offer a receptive space that allows for the complexity, depth, and variety of emotions and experiences that bubble up for us during the holiday season. For some, stillness can feel empowering, transformative, healing, and/or joyful. For others, stillness can evoke feelings of grief, loss, loneliness, anxiety, and beyond. The possibilities, experiences, and meanings of stillness are as diverse as we are.

Especially during this current holiday in the context of COVID, we invite all to share and listen deeply and with tenderness.
