January 29, 1945 ~ February 9, 2015

“She was everywhere helping with everything. She bought so many things to create Lewis Hall’s ‘sanctuary.’ Her last job at VIUF was as the Membership Head.”

On Feb 9 2015, Susan Sullivan passed away peacefully in her bed, with her loving husband Pat holding her hand and their family with them. Shortly before her death, she described a vision of a bridge shrouded in mist that she knew she needed to cross. Where she is now only time will tell, but her memory and spirit live on in the many people she has touched during her extraordinary life.

FOR SUSAN – song by Mark Wells

CHORUS

Go now in peace
We bid you fond farewell
Where this journey will take you
Only time can tell

Your kindness and your grace
Are with us in this place
Suffuse this room with love, it’s nice to
Feel your warm embrace

Chorus

So go now in peace
Lay down your weary head
The battle’s bravely fought, now fall
Asleep in your own bed

Chorus
