We exist in a society that values forceful speaking over quiet listening. And while our ability to listen has been significantly diminished, a cacophony of long diminished voices is struggling to break through the din to demand we pay attention to vital lessons nearly lost to the noise. Can we remember how to listen to the knowing whisperers of wisdom before it’s too late?

Matt Aspin is a beloved part of the VIUF community as a past Ministerial intern with TUUC and VIUF.  He earned his Masters of Divinity degree from Meadville Lombard Theological School, was granted Preliminary Fellowship by the Ministerial Fellowship Committee, and will soon be ordained by his home congregation in West Seattle. Matt has recently accepted a position as the Interim Dir. of Religious Exploration for the Auburn UU Fellowship in Alabama where he will be serving remotely for the remainder of the 2020-21 church year.
