In the final week of 2020, we are given the opportunity to slow down and reflect on this time between two calendar years, before rushing to end the year of COVID and the presidential election. We will pause to notice all that is unknown ahead of us, and consider the experience of the liminal…not knowing, being in transition, in the space in between. We all know these: the time after a divorce, being in an elevator, shifting seasons, being in labor, depending on weather for an activity; being in the unknown, and finding comfort and ease. We will dig deep into our personal and collective experiences of the liminal, and consider how to enrich our lives and community with this in mind.
