VIUF Sunday service cancelled this week – March 8, 2020

VIUF Members and Friends,

After careful consideration of information from many knowledgeable sources about the spread of the CoVid-19, our Board has decided to cancel this Sunday’s service at Lewis Hall. We do this regretfully as we also know how important it is to join together with our spiritual community for support and inspiration, particularly in these truly difficult times.

Widely recommended guidelines to organizations of all types are to avoid gatherings of more than 10 persons, particularly in close quarters and to be especially mindful of persons who might be more susceptible to the virus, including those with underlying health conditions.

VIUF will be sending out links via our newsletter to spiritual resources and working on ways to be in meaningful connection. If you have thoughts on ways to do this, please let me know and we will include you in email planning.

We will be continuing to monitor reports from King County Public Health, the CDC and our own Unitarian Universalist Association, as well as our local community for decision making. Please continue to check your email for resources and further resources.

As you read this, know that you are connected to your VIUF community!

With appreciation of you all-

Robbie Rohr
